Miracle! Watch Robot Offering Prayers At Vellore's VIT College

Robots assisted in the Ayudha Pooja ceremony that was performed by the mechanical engineering department of a university in Tamil Nadu’s Vellore on Monday, October 23, 2023.

A video of the event that went viral on multiple social media platforms shows one of the robots performing aarthi, resonating the ceremonial bells, while the other graciously distributing the sacred prasad to the attendees and the department staff who were standing behind and offering prayers.

Guided by the astute mentorship of the faculty, students used the six-axled robot and its mobile counterpart seamlessly conducted the sacred ceremonies.

At present, the robots are being used to teach students of mechanical engineering.
