On Wednesday, January 8, 2025, the Indo-Tibetan Board Police (ITBP) Force will close the application period for the position of Inspector (Hindi Translator). Candidates who are interested in applying for the position but have not yet done so can do so at recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in, the ITBP's official website. This recruitment drive aims to fill 15 vacancies. Out of the total vacancies, 13 are for males and two vacancies are reserved for females.

Eligibility criteria:
As of January 8, 2025, the maximum age to apply for the position is thirty years old. Applicants must be born on or after January 9, 1995, in order to be considered for the position. The upper age limit for candidates in the reserved category is lowered, though.
A master's degree in Hindi or English from an accredited university, where Hindi and English are required or elective courses or used as the language of assessment at the degree level.
Application fees:
Male candidates from UR, OBC, and EWS categories must pay an application fee of Rs. 200.
Female candidates are exempt from paying the application fee.
Candidates from Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories are also exempt.
Ex-Servicemen do not need to pay the application fee either.
