In a latest development in FYJC admissions, the government has decided to wait for the results of other boards for the 11th online admission process.
Mahesh Palkar, Director of Education (Secondary & Higher Secondary), mentioned in a statement that for the first time in the year 2022-23, the results of the 10th examination of the State Board have been announced before the CBSE.
Except for IGCSE, NIOS, and SSC, Class 10 board results have not been announced yet.
“ About 5% of the total admissions in the 11th State Board of Junior Colleges every year are from CBSE Board. Therefore, the government has decided to wait for the students of other boards for the 11th online admission process (for all to get justice). As soon as the CBSE results are announced, the way will be paved for taking further action,” said Mr. Palkar in the statement.
The work of checking the physical facilities and determining the maximum admission capacity of the junior college is being done at the level of the Deputy Director of Education with the aim being to help prevent inadequate facilities and overcrowding.
“The school education department is making efforts to ensure that the 11th admission is done as soon as possible and the students continue their education. The 11th admission has started in rural areas where there is no online admission process,” said the statement by Mr. Palkar.
