CSIR UGC NET December 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) cancelled the Earth Sciences and Mathematical Sciences exam held on February 28, 2025 (Shift 1) at Assam Down Town University, Guwahati, Assam, due to a technical glitch.

CSIR UGC NET December 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) cancelled the Earth Sciences and Mathematical Sciences exam held on February 28, 2025 (Shift 1) at Assam Down Town University, Guwahati, Assam, due to a technical glitch. The NTA will announce the new exam date, time and venue details shortly. Candidates can check the CSIR UGC NET December 2024 notification at nta.ac.in.
"Due to technical glitch, the exam held in the subjects of Earth Sciences and Mathematical Sciences on 28.02.2025 (Shift-1 ONLY) at Assam Down Town University, Guwahati, Assam stands cancelled," reads the official notification.
The CSIR UGC NET December 2024 examination is scheduled to be conducted on February 28, March 1, and March 2, 2025, for six subjects. The examination will be conducted in two sessions on the first day, each lasting three hours. The first session will be from 9 AM to 12 noon, and the second session will be from 3 PM to 6 PM. The Joint CSIR UGC NET December 2024 admit card was issued on February 25, 2025.

- Candidates must bring their CSIR UGC NET December 2024 admit card along with valid ID proof on the day of the examination. Candidates who fail to bring their CSIR UGC NET 2024 hall ticket will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.
- Candidates should report to the test centers prior to the reporting time. Entry will be closed 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination.
- Biometric details of all the candidates will be captured and identity verification done on arrival at the test center to ensure only the authorised candidates are permitted to take the test. Candidates will have to assist security personnel while undergoing the security checks.
- Electronic devices, geometry boxes, instruments, handbags, purses, any stationery/paper, eatables/snacks, tea/coffee/cold drinks/water (loose or packed), and any metallic object are strictly not allowed within the exam hall.
