CLAT 2025 UG Counselling: First Round Allotment Out At consortiumofnlus.ac.in; What’s Next?

CLAT UG 2025 First Allotment List: The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) on Monday issued the Round 1 seat allotment list of CLAT UG 2025. Candidates who had registered for the counselling process can now check their allotment status at consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

This is a major development for undergraduate law students who are looking to get admission into premier NLUs in the country.

What to Do After Seat Allotment

Students now have to select one of the next three options:

Freeze: Take the seat offered and move forward with admission.

Float: Accept the current allotment but remain open for higher preference in subsequent rounds.

Exit: Refuse the seat and drop out of the counselling process.

Students will also have to deposit a confirmation fee of ₹20,000 by 1 PM on 30 May 2025. If they fail to do so, they will be disqualified from the present and upcoming counselling rounds.

The second allotment list of CLAT UG 2025 will be announced on June 4, 2025. The candidates who get a seat in round two have to make the payment and admission procedure from June 4 to June 9, 2025. If not done within the time limit, the allotted seat might be lost.

Aspirants are requested to read their allotment status carefully, select the correct option, and undertake the necessary formalities prior to the stipulated deadline to secure their position in the allotted NLU.

Confirmation Fee Payment Window: May 26, 10:00 AM – May 30, 1:00 PM

Second Allotment List Release: June 4, 2025

University Fee Payment Deadline: June 14, 2025
