CBSE To Close Window For CwSN Facilities/Exemptions Today: Final Chance For Class 10 & 12 Students
CBSE ensures equal educational opportunities for CwSN students, in compliance with the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act. The 2025 board exams begin on February 15.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will close the window for availing facilities and exemptions for Children with Special Needs (CwSN) today. This option applies to candidates appearing for the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams in 2025.
Guidelines for Schools to Avail CwSN Facilities
CBSE has outlined specific guidelines for schools seeking facilities for CwSN students:
Schools must log in to the Pariksha Sangam portal using their credentials (ID and password).
Any previous requests sent directly to CBSE (offline or otherwise) must also be uploaded onto the portal during the scheduled period.
No requests will be entertained after the mentioned deadline or in offline mode.
The schedule will not be extended, and all processes must be completed within the given time frame.

CBSE has reiterated that schools should admit CwSN students without discrimination, ensuring equal opportunities in education, sports, and recreational activities. The board also referred to Section 16 of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, which mandates that all educational institutions, funded or recognized by the government, must provide inclusive education for children with disabilities.
Board Exam Schedule for 2025
CBSE will begin the Class 10 and 12 board exams for the 2024-25 academic year on February 15, 2025. The Class 10 exams will conclude on March 18, while the Class 12 exams will end on April 4. Around 44 lakh students are expected to participate in the exams, which will be conducted nationwide and in 26 countries abroad.
