Today, January 23, is the last day of the extended registration and application period for the All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE 2025). Parents and candidates can apply at exams.nta.ac.in/AISSEE for the AISSEE Class 6 and Class 9 exams until 5:00 p.m.

How to apply:
Step 1: Go to exams.nta.ac.in/AISSEE, the official website.
Step 2: Click the "AISSEE 2025 - Click here to login/register" link on the webpage.
Step 3: The screen will turn to a new page.
Step 4: Create an account and start completing the application.
Step 5: Click submit after paying the application cost.
Step 6: Print off your application so you have it for future use.
Eligibility criteria:
Candidates for Class 6 must be between the ages of 10 and 12 on March 31, 2025. Girls can only enrol in Class VI at any Sainik school.
For Class 9, applicants must have completed Class VIII at an accredited school at the time of enrolment and be between the ages of 13 and 15 as of March 31, 2025. Girls can apply for admission to Class IX, provided there are openings.
