Titan Company Q1 Net Profit Surges 63% To ₹1,777 Crore, Revenue Up 40%
Titan Company Ltd announced a substantial increase in its consolidated net profit and total income for the first quarter of the financial year 2026-27. The growth was driven by strong demand across its jewellery, watches, and eye-care segments

Mumbai: Titan Company Ltd on Thursday, 7 August 2026, reported a 63 per cent rise in its consolidated net profit, reaching ₹1,777 crore for the quarter ended 30 June 2026. In the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year, the company had posted a net profit of ₹1,091 crore.
Revenue Performance
The company's consolidated total income grew by 40 per cent to ₹20,753 crore for the June quarter of FY27, compared to ₹14,778 crore in the same period of FY26. This excludes bullion and Digi-gold sales.
Segmental Growth
The jewellery division's income, excluding bullion and Digi-gold sales, increased by 43 per cent to ₹18,253 crore over Q1 FY26. The watches portfolio recorded a 21 per cent rise in total income to ₹1,543 crore, while the eye-care business saw its total income grow by 21 per cent to ₹289 crore.
Profit Before Tax
Consolidated profit before tax stood at ₹2,429 crore, marking a 64 per cent increase from ₹1,480 crore in the year-ago quarter. The company noted that adjusting for a custom duty increase in gold, the profit before tax grew by 37 per cent.
Management Commentary
Ajoy Chawla, Managing Director of Titan Company, said the first quarter was a "strong opening" with consumer businesses registering 40 per cent year-on-year growth. He added that the company's brands across various segments continue to deliver value to customers seeking premium offerings.
Store Network Expansion
During the quarter, Titan expanded its retail presence by adding 33 net stores in India, including Tanishq, Mia, beYon, and Caratlane outlets. The Tanishq business also opened two new stores in the GCC region, while the Damas business closed one net store.
Other Businesses
The Emerging Businesses, which include SKINN Fragrances, IRTH Women's Bags, and Taneira Indian Dress Wear, reported an 18 per cent increase in total income to ₹128 crore for Q1 FY27, though they recorded a loss of ₹39 crore. Titan Engineering & Automation Limited (TEAL) saw its total income rise by 43 per cent to ₹438 crore for the quarter.
