Meta's Global Outage Leads To A Memefest On X

In another episode of the Meta fall story, Mark Zuckerberg-run Meta platforms, including WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook, were reportedly down in the wee hours of December 12 (as per Indian time).

This is another instance of an outage of a global scale that appears to have affected the functioning of the biggest social media company in the world.

Previously, the platform also faced a similar outage earlier in the years as well.

Amid the ongoing crisis, as usual users from that platform have found refuge at Elon Musk's X. Many of them took the opportunity to post memes on the matter.

Meta also took to X to address the larger internet on the matter. In its earlier post, it said, "We’re aware that a technical issue is impacting some users’ ability to access our apps. We’re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible and apologize for any inconvenience."

Later on, Meta posted another update on the matter, "Thanks for bearing with us! We’re 99% of the way there - just doing some last checks. We apologize to those who’ve been affected by the outage."

Some users have claimed, that can access the services across the platform, while others claimed otherwise.
