India’s biggest government bank, SBI, is going to change some rules for its credit cards. These new rules will start from July 15, 2025. Let’s see what changes are coming in SBI credit cards.

From July 15, SBI will stop giving free air accident insurance of up to Rs 1 crore with its credit cards. This insurance is given with premium cards like:
SBI Card ELITE
SBI Card Miles ELITE
SBI Card Miles Prime
Rs 50 Lakh Free Insurance Will Also End
From the same date, SBI will also stop the Rs 50 lakh free air accident insurance. This benefit is given on these cards:
SBI Card PRIME
SBI Card Plus
More Cards Will Lose This Benefit from August 11
From August 11, 2025, SBI will also stop this insurance for other cards that offer up to Rs 1 crore air accident cover. These cards are:
UCO Bank SBI Card ELITE
Central Bank of India SBI Card ELITE
PSB SBI Card ELITE
KVB SBI Card ELITE
So, if you have any of these cards, remember that these free insurance benefits will not be available after these dates.
