Are Banks Open Tomorrow?
The question therefore is, are the banks open this entire week? The short answer is no.
Banks in Maharashtra and other parts of the country will remain closed on account of Holi. Holi is a major festivity in India and has great significance in the Hindu religion.

The month of March has a total of 15-19 holidays, depending upon the state or Union Territory one resides in. The first day of the month, Saturday, will see banks operating.
It once again needs to be noted that these numbers may vary depending upon the state, that one is living in.
Banks will be non-operational on February 22 as it would mark the fourth Saturday of the month. Thereafter, banks will be closed on Sunday, February 23.
This would be followed by Sunday, March 16. On Saturday, March 22, banks will be closed as it would mark the fourth Saturday of the month. Banks will be closed on March 23, Sunday. The month of March will see its last holiday on Monday, March 31, on account of the Islamic festival of Id-ul-Fitr or Ramadan Id.
What Can Consumers in Need Do?
All banks are expected to remain open for virtual business on weekends and other holidays. The services are supposed to be accessible unless a bank's customers or account holders are specifically informed otherwise.
These services can be accessed through mobile apps and the internet websites of the associated banks. The customers may also use other services like ATMs and depositing machines.
There is a possibility that some banks will use this period for maintenance work.
In case of non-availability of virtual services, one must contact their banks.
