According to information, an ambulance that arrived to pick her up got stuck due to the lack of a proper road.

Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): A pregnant woman had to be carried on foot for nearly 3 kilometers up to the ambulance, due to the poor condition of roads in Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur, as reported on Tuesday.
The matter came to fore through a video, emerging from Viyosa village, located in Patan area of Jabalpur.
According to information, an ambulance that arrived to pick her up and take her to hospital.
However, it got stuck midway due to the lack of a proper road.
As a result, villagers had to carry the woman on foot for nearly 3 kilometers to reach the ambulance.
A video of the incident was also captured, which is circulating on social media on Tuesday and reached the officials.

After this incident, the District Collector took serious note of the issue and instructed officials to take necessary steps for constructing the road.
The delay in construction is reportedly due to a part of the road passing through private land.
The Collector has also spoken with the villagers and assured them that a proper road will be built soon. The administration is working to resolve the land-related issues to ensure safe and easy access for the people of the village.
