US Wrong To Shackle Deported Indians, Says Union Minister Ramdas Athawale At A Press Conference In Bhopal

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Ramdas Athawale, on the issue of migrants recently deported from the US said that it was wrong to send Indians in shackles. The US government should not have done this. The issue will be discussed during the proposed US visit of the Prime Minister.

The Union Minister was addressing media persons in Bhopal on Saturday. He said, under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, the country is moving on the path of development and the target is to make India developed by 2047. He said that in this year's general budget, more than Rs 6 lakh crore have been allocated to the defence sector.

Railways have been allocated Rs 2.52 lakh crore in the budget for 2025-26. He said that under the Special Component Plan of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, an amount of Rs 1.68 lakh crore has been received in this year's budget. He said that Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana began in 2014. More than 51 crore Jan Dhan accounts have been opened. Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana began in 2015. People have also benefited a lot from this.

He said that more than 10 crore people have received free cylinders under Ujjwala Yojana. More than 12 crore toilets have been built in the country. He said that more than 4 crore houses have been built under PM Awaas Yojana. He called upon the youth to come forward and create employment and take the country forward.
