Chhatarpur (Madhya Pradesh): Two people were seriously injured after four vehicles collided one after another due to a cow carcass lying in the middle of the road on Monday in Madhya Pradesh's Chhatarpur.
The cow's carcass had been lying unattended in the middle of the road for two days.
The incident took place in front of Dr. Sonu Bhatnagar Hospital near village Angaur on Chhatarpur-Sagar Road.

According to reports and eyewitnesses, a cow's dead body was lying unattended since last 2 days on the middle of the road. On Monday night, in an attempt to avoid the animal's dead body a car veered which caused a chain of car collision leaving two people seriously injured and three others with minor injuries.
People allege that the concerned department should have immediately removed the dead cow from the road to avoid road accidents. Locals urges authorities to take responsibility and ensure such negligence does not endanger lives again.
