Special Train To Be Operated Between Rewa And Bhopal's Rani Kamalapati On Rakshabandhan To Handle Passenger Rush
Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Saurabh Kataria said that this train will run for one trip from Rani Kamalapati on August 08, 2025, and from Rewa on August 09, 2025.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): In view of the extra rush of passengers during the Rakshabandhan festival, it has been decided by West Central Railway to run a special train service.
Train number 01661/01662 Rani Kamalapati–Rewa–Rani Kamalapati Weekly Express Special train will be operated.

Train operation details:
Train number 01661 will depart from Rani Kamalapati for Rewa on Friday, August 08 at 19:35 hrs, and will reach Rewa on Saturday at 06:20 hrs.
Train number 01662 will depart from Rewa for Rani Kamalapati on Saturday, August 09 at 07:35 hrs, and will reach Rani Kamalapati at 19:20 hrs on the same day.

In both directions, the special train will halt at several important stations along the route. These include Rani Kamalapati, Vidisha, Bina, Sagar, Damoh, Katni Mudwara, Maihar, Satna, and Rewa.
These stops will help passengers from multiple cities and towns conveniently travel during the Rakshabandhan festival.
The train will consist of a total of 18 coaches, designed to accommodate passengers of different travel needs. The composition will include 4 coaches of third AC class, 5 coaches of third AC economy class, 5 sleeper class coaches, and 2 general class coaches.
This setup is expected to cater to a large number of passengers and provide comfortable travel options.
