Following the attack, angry locals gathered at the spot and blamed the municipal corporation for the incident. Despite strict orders from the Katni Collector to control stray animals, bulls and other cattle continue to roam freely in the city.
People have even started calling them ‘agents of death’, putting people’s lives at risk. Locals say the municipal’s task force to catch stray animals has become completely inactive.
