Rewa (Madhya Pradesh): A case of murder was reported from Madhya Pradesh’s Rewa district, where a 23-year-old man’s throat was slit over an old enmity, as reported by police on Thursday.
It is said that the accused even recorded the crime on a video and shared it on social media.
According to information, the incident occurred on Wednesday in a forested area near Bhaukhari village, under Lalgaon police station limits, approximately 50 km from the district headquarters.
Superintendent of Police Vivek Singh informed the accused was identified as Rajnish Mishra. He allegedly slit the throat of the victim, Abhishek Tripathi. Also, his friend Rajkumar Kewat filmed the entire crime.

At present, police have detained Rajnish's brother, Gollu Mishra, who is accused of luring the victim to the remote location under the pretext of a party.
The murder came to light when the victim's family discovered the video circulating online and informed the police. The police later recovered Abhishek’s body and sent it for post-mortem.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the murder may have stemmed from a long-standing dispute.
SP Singh stated that the case is under investigation and that efforts are underway to apprehend both the prime accused and his accomplice.
