Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Madhya Pradesh Assembly paid tributes to the victims of Pahalgam terrorist attack and Ahemdabad plane crash on Monday.
It also paid tributes to film actor Manoj Kumar and politicians who passed away in the recent past. After paying tribute, house was adjourned for the day.
Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar censured the Pahalgam terrorist incident. He said one person from Indore was among the victims. He described Ahmedabad plane crash as heart-wrenching.
Chief minister Mohan Yadav, Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar also paid tributes to departed souls.
House also paid tribute to ex-MLAs Surendra Bahadur Singh, Raghunath Singh, Shivshankar Lal Munna Kheri, ex-union minister Dr Girija Vyas, former Gujarat chief minister Vijay Kuma Rupani, folk artiste Ram Sahay Pandey.

7498 posts of Assistant Professor vacant in government colleges
Higher education minister Inder Singh Parmar has informed the House that out of 12,895 posts of Assistant Professors sanctioned in government colleges, 7, 498 are lying vacant.
Against the vacant posts, 4015 guest teachers have been appointed, said the minister in reply to MLA Pankaj Upadhyay.
