Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav visited Bansal Hospital on Friday to meet two police personnel severely injured in a grenade explosion during a routine mock drill.
The incident occurred when a grenade accidentally exploded during the drill of 25th Battalion on Thursday (May 15), leaving Vishal Singh and Santosh Kumar injured. One of the policeman sustained severe eye injury.
During the visit to hospital CM Mohan Yadav assured advanced medical treatment for the injured cops.
“Treatment is underway, and wherever advanced care is needed, we’ll ensure they get it. We pray to Baba Mahakal for their speedy recover,' the CM said.
The Chief Minister emphasized the seriousness of the accident and announced an official inquiry, saying those responsible will be held accountable.
