Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A shocking incident unfolded on Sunday night in the Bhopal’s Jahangirabad area, where a 14-year-old was attacked with a paper cutter by his minor friend and his father.
The assault, which took place on Church Road, left the student seriously injured near his ear. Though the ear was not completely cut off, the boy sustained severe wounds and bled profusely. The victim is undergoing treatment at a local hospital.
According to police reports, the dispute began over a copper chain that the accused minor had previously given to the victim. Both boys were students at the same madrasa and had recently fallen out over the item.

The accused and his father who was identified as Javed, confronted the victim and demanded the chain back. The situation escalated into a violent argument due to which the duo attacked the student with a paper cutter.
The Jahangirabad police have registered a case based on the victim’s complaint and launched a search operation to catch the accused. As of now, both the father and son are absconding. Authorities have made sure that the accused will be arrested soon and strict action will be taken.
This incident has raised serious concerns about youth involvement in violence and the role of adults in such acts. Police investigations are underway.
