Madhya Pradesh HC Orders Probe Over Fake Caste Certificate
As per the order, if something is found suspicious, the Bhopal collector may refer the matter to the high level scrutiny committee.

Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): The High Court, principal bench of Jabalpur has directed Bhopal collector to probe in the complaint of alleged fake caste certificate of BMC corporator (ward -48) Arvind Verma. Justice Vishal Dhagat has passed the order.
As per the order, if something is found suspicious, the Bhopal collector may refer the matter to the high level scrutiny committee.
A video of three women assaulting corporator Arvind Verma, who represents ward no 48, had surfaced on social media in September 2024. The women allegedly had thrashed a BJP corporator at a public place in Bhopal while accusing him of extorting money from them. Corporator Arvind had claimed a man had planned the attack and got it executed by the women of his family.
‘The man was present there. I belong to the Scheduled Caste community and am the lone engineer in my family. I am not involved in any such act (of teasing women). They were nursing a grudge against me due to my anti-encroachment stance and were hatching conspiracies against me,’ Verma had clarified.
