Madhya Pradesh: Congress Candidate Owes Debt Of Rs 96 Lakh

Satna (Madhya Pradesh): Congress candidate from Chitrakoot assembly constituency Neelangshu Chaturvedi is under the debt of Rs 96 lakh, according to an affidavit submitted by him in the election office at the time of filing nomination.
Chaturvedi, who lives in the palace of Naya Gaon, recently built a house on one acre in Barondha.
According to records, Chaturvedi, who won election twice, has fixed assets worth over Rs 2.3 crore and movable properties worth Rs 33 lakh. He has cash of over Rs 1.13 lakh.
His wife Archana Sharma has movable properties worth over Rs 32 lakh and unmovable properties worth Rs 97 lakh. Archana Sharma has a bond of Rs 8, 67,000. Neelangshu has 33.21 grams of gold, and his wife has 200 grams of gold and 900 grams of silver.
Neelangshu has a 300-bore rifle and a revolver and his wife has a 256-bore rifle and a revolver. Forty-one-year-old Neelangshu has done B Tech in agriculture engineering.
He recently built a house on one acre in Barondha at a cost of Rs 32 lakh. He has a scorpio SUV and Bolero and a debt of over Rs 96 lakh. There is no criminal case against him.
