Madhya Pradesh: CM Mohan Yadav Joins Cheti Chand Celebrations In Ujjain, Announces Krishna Pilgrimage Development
Renowned Bollywood actor Govinda was also present as a special guest at the event.

Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh): Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav participated in the Cheti Chand festival celebrations at Tower Chowk on Saturday. He extended his best wishes to the people of the state, especially the Sindhi community, on the occasion of Cheti Chand and Chaitra Pratipada.
Renowned Bollywood actor Govinda was also present as a special guest at the event. Addressing the gathering, CM Yadav expressed hope that the blessings of Lord Jhulelal would bring peace, prosperity, and happiness to everyone. He highlighted Ujjain as a city of Lord Mahakal and Lord Krishna, rich in art, culture, and spirituality.

CM Yadav announced that places associated with Lord Krishna’s life are being developed as pilgrimage sites under the 'Shri Krishna Pathey Trust.' He also mentioned incentives for dairy farmers to boost milk production. Actor Govinda extended his greetings and praised CM Yadav for his work in combining development with spirituality. Ujjain MP Anil Firojiya also conveyed his best wishes for the festival.
The event began with the lighting of lamps by CM Yadav, MP Firojiya, and Govinda. CM Yadav hoisted the ceremonial flag to start a social rally celebrating Cheti Chand. Several dignitaries, including MLA Anil Jain Kaluheda, Mayor Mukesh Tatwal, and other public representatives, attended the event. Cheti Chand is an important festival of the Sindhi community, celebrated as the birth anniversary of Lord Jhulelal, the deity of water.
