Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): On the second day of the BJP’s training programme in Pachmarhi, party MPs and MLAs were told to sharpen their public engagement strategies, improve their public image and effectively use social media to connect with citizens and promote government work.
At a key session, BJP National General Secretary Vinod Tawde told legislators, “The respect of party workers and public service should be your prime goals. Use social media to stay in touch with public and communicate government's achievements.”
Several senior party leaders addressed different sessions, offering practical advice on leadership, communication and organisational discipline.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, in his address on “Developed Madhya Pradesh 2047 – Opportunity and Challenge,” emphasised that party workers should understand and explain government schemes. “Back in 2002 under Congress, the state budget was just Rs 5,000 crore. Now, it's Rs 4.20 lakh crore,” he said. He said that irrigated land has increased from 7 lakh hectares to 55 lakh hectares and industrial growth has accelerated.

He also spoke about plans to develop Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Jabalpur and Ujjain into metropolitan cities, building on the momentum of successful regional and global investor summits.
BJP National Co-Organisation General Secretary Shivprakash, speaking during the session on “Coordination Process, Problems and Solutions,” stressed collective effort, grassroots contact, and personal discipline. “Success in politics needs patience and constant self-improvement. MPs and MLAs must remain connected to booth-level workers.”
State BJP President VD Sharma said that even ordinary workers could rise to top posts through hard work. Ajay Jambal, BJP’s Regional Organisation General Secretary, blamed Britishers for caste divisions and said BJP is working to restore social harmony.
Union Minister CR Patil spoke about the importance of time management for effective leadership and daily discipline.
