Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has begun the final phase of the State Service Examination 2024, with interviews starting from Monday.
A total of 339 shortlisted candidates will appear in this decisive round, which will continue for about 15 working days. Of the total, 306 candidates are in the main list, while 33 are in the provisional list.
To ensure smooth conduct of the process, MPPSC has formed three interview panels, though initially, only two panels will function. Around 30–35 candidates will be interviewed each day.
Candidates have been instructed to report one hour before their scheduled interview at the Commission’s office, where verification of original documents will be carried out.
Through PSC-2024, MPPSC will fill 110 vacancies across 11 state departments, including key positions such as sub-divisional magistrate (SDM), deputy superintendent of police (DSP), chief municipal officer, additional assistant development commissioner, commercial tax inspector and excise sub-inspector.
The state service preliminary examination was held in July 2024, followed by the main examination in October 2024. Results of the main exam were declared on March 5, 2025, after which 339 candidates were shortlisted for interviews.
Following nearly five months of wait, MPPSC announced the interview schedule on July 22. Once the interview process concludes, MPPSC is expected to publish the final selection list, paving the way for appointments to these administrative posts.
