Jabalpur Cop In Trouble For Filing FIR Over ₹165 Rasgulla & Pan Masala Theft (WATCH)

Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): A Jabalpur police officer is facing the heat after he registered an FIR for the theft of just ₹165 worth of Rasgullas and Pan Masala.
This came after two persons stole a 1 kg packet of Haldiram’s Rasgullas and two pouches of Rajshree Pan Masala, worth ₹165, from a bakery in Sihora, which led to the officer filing an FIR, after the owner's complaint.

The officer's lack of knowledge about a recent rule has landed him in trouble, and now he has been asked to explain his actions.
According to information, the incident took place on April 24, when two youths, Ashutosh Thakur and Sanchit Sharma, were caught on CCTV stealing a 1 kg packet of Haldiram’s Rasgullas, worth ₹125, and two pouches of Rajshree Pan Masala, worth ₹20 each, from a bakery in Sihora.
The bakery owner, Devkaran Vishwakarma, reviewed the CCTV footage and filed a complaint with the police.
