Panna (Madhya Pradesh): Yet another case of animal attack was reported from Madhya Pradesh’s Panna district on Monday, where a man was attacked by a hyena while he had gone into the forest to relieve himself.
The man, showing great courage, fought back fiercely and managed to drive the animal away, though he sustained serious injuries in the incident.
According to information, the incident occurred in the Brijpur police station area, in Gajna village.

The victim was identified as Chhote Adivas and he was visiting his in-laws in Hatupur. Early in the morning, when he went towards the forest for defecation, a hyena hiding in the bushes suddenly jumped on him.
However, Chhote didn’t panic and instead fought back bravely. The fight between the man and the wild animal continued for quite some time. Eventually, he succeeded in scaring the hyena away.
Victim out of danger
Chhote sustained multiple injuries on his hands, legs, and other parts of his body. He was immediately rushed to the district hospital with the help of his family and local villagers. Doctors have confirmed that he is now out of danger and further receiving treatment.
