Honorary Amount Of ₹2 Lakh To The Best Guide Under TGRS; 72 Guides Are Providing Their Services In MP

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Principal Secretary Tourism, Sheo Shekhar Shukla has said that an honorary amount of Rs 2 lakh will be given to the best guide in the Tourist Guide Rating System (TGRS).

The Guides who secured the first, second and third positions under the TGRS will be awarded honorarium of Rs 2 lakh, Rs 1 lakh and Rs 50,000 respectively from next year, he said.

Shukla was speaking at the Guide Orientation and Skill Development Workshop at RCVP Noronha Academy of Administration in the city on Monday. At present, 72 guides are providing their services in Madhya Pradesh. Soon, recruitment of guides will be started for 313 posts.

Patwari caught accepting bribe of Rs 9000

Special police establishment (SPE) Lokayukta Bhopal has caught a patwari posted in Bhopal Huzur accepting Rs 9000, here on Monday said officials.

SP DK Rathore said that complainant Pradeep Mali approached SEP alleging that village patwari Ujjawal Upadhaya was demanding Rs 9000 to mutate his parental land in village Gol-khedi in his name.

After the verification of the allegations, the SEP constituted a team led by Dilip Jharbade to trap the patwari. As soon as the amount was handed over to patwari at the petrol pump, the sleuths caught him red handed accepting the amount.
