Global Investors Summit 2025: Atithi Devo Bhava Utsav To Connect Residents With GIS Delegates

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Bhopal Ek Saath Team (BEST), a citizen forum of Bhopal, will hold a 10-day event, Atithi Devo Bhava Utsav, to connect city residents with Global Investors Summit (GIS) to be held in the city on February 24-25.

Ten residents in the city have offered their houses for lodging delegates and also volunteered to provide 50 English-speaking escorts to them for visiting interesting places in and around Bhopal. Besides, they plan to publish a booklet containing information about shopping, food and tourist places.

They have also planned to organise a roadshow in Bhopal for 7 days, which will feature bike rally, painting competition, car rally and pedestrian walk. “We want to acquaint investors and foreign delegates with Bhopal's culture and hospitality,” Sparsh Dwivedi from BEST told media persons on Sunday.

The team has presented a five-point charter of demands to the state government. They are as follows.

* A 5,000-seater convention centre in Bhopal

* Promote Bhopal from business point of view

* Promote Govindpura, Mandideep, Acharpura as industrial cluster
