Dy LoP Hemant Katare Makes Allegations Against Three Jal Jeevan Mission Officers |
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Deputy Leader of the Opposition Hemant Katare accused three officials of corruption in the Jal Jeevan Mission.
The three officials against whom he made allegations included two engineers and a former engineer-in-chief.
Katare said the nodal officer, Alok Agarwal, would bring data from the office of the PHE engineer-in-chief by sending the pro forma of the draft project report (DPR). Real DPR was prepared in the field.
Katare said the old tenders had been revised. Notices were issued to sub-engineers and assistant engineers, but the executive engineer, superintending engineer, chief engineer, and engineer-in-chief were let off the hook.
Katare, who demanded a CBI probe into the case, said a case should be registered against the three officers responsible for the rip-off in the Jal Jeevan Mission, and an inquiry should be conducted.
