Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh advised BJP MPs and MLAs to never give any assurance that cannot be fulfilled. He stressed the importance of remaining rooted in ideology and never compromising with principles.
Addressing the concluding session of the BJP’s three-day training camp held in Pachmarhi on Monday, Rajnath urged representatives to stay connected with party organisation, reminding them that the organisation supported the party even when it was out of power.
“Respect party workers and listen to their voice. BJP’s strength lies in public trust and hard work of its cadre,” he said.
Rajnath Singh said that even though BJP has grown into the largest political party, three things have remained unchanged throughout its journey—training, cultural nationalism and a spirit of welfare for the poor.
“This training session is meant to understand party ideology and to reflect personally,” he said.
He credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership for pushing India towards becoming the world’s third-largest economy, while stressing that the party never strayed from its ideological path.
“A BJP worker may lose an election but will never abandon ideology. We weren’t born in power, but emerged through the flames of struggle,” Rajnath said.
