Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Three separate cases of minor girls missing have emerged from different areas of the city in last 24 hours. The cases have been registered in Awadhpuri, Misrod and Shahjahanabad police station.
Based on complaints from families, the police have registered cases against unidentified individuals and begun investigation. Besides, there are reports of 11 people including women who left their homes.
The first case is from Awadhpuri police station area where a woman residing in BDA Colony reported that her 17-year-old daughter left home without informing anyone on July 13. The mother alleged that a person lured and taken her daughter away.
The second incident is from Misrod police station area. There, a father reported on July 14 that his 14-year-old daughter went out in the afternoon without telling anyone and did not return home by evening. After searching for her, the family informed police.
The third case is from Bagh Munshi Hussain area under Shahjahanabad police station. A woman there reported that her 17-year-old daughter suddenly went missing. The family suspects that someone may have lured her away.
Police officials said that in all three cases, the police have registered kidnapping cases against unidentified individuals. Investigation teams from the respective stations are working on the cases and reviewing CCTV footage from the surrounding areas.
