Sports, Cooking Contest, DJ Night @ Civil Service Meet-2024

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): IAS officers along with their family members took part in various sports and cooking competitions with great zeal in the city on Saturday. It was part of the second–day of the three-day ‘Civil Service Meet-2024,’ organised by Madhya Pradesh IAS Officers Association.

They participated in a boat race at the Boat Club in the morning. After that, they took part in sports activities including football, badminton, table tennis, pool, carom, billiards, tongue of war, dumb charades, quiz at Arera Club. 

They also participated in cooking competitions, painting, antakshari and enjoyed a lot. DJ night was also organized. Cycling event will be held on Sunday morning. The service meet will conclude on Sunday with prize distribution, in which members of Red, Green, Blue, Orange teams participating in different competitions will be felicitated.

Unwind Picnic Begins With Storytelling Session, Dumb Charades

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A two-day winter children's festival-2024, Unwind Picnic, began with a storytelling session, dumb charades and painting contest at Swami Vivekanand Library (SVL) in the city on Saturday.

Storyteller and clinical psychologist Dyutima Sharma narrated stories focused on moral education and also explained to children about emotions and human feelings in children's language style under storytelling session ‘Bhavnao Ko Samjho’.

Children from 5 to 16 years and their parents participated in it. Children expressed words and sentences through acting, which enhanced their communication skills under Dumb Charades. Children showcased their imagination and creativity, which improved their drawing skills under painting contest.
