Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The 'Aalmi Tablighi Ijtema' is being organized in Bhopal from November 29 to December 2. For the occasion, Railways have made special arrangements for the convenience of passengers and devotees.
Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Saurabh Kataria informed that 2 additional ticket windows have been started in addition to 6 regular ticket counters at Bhopal Railway Station, for the ease of the devotees.
Security at toes
Also, tickets are being issued from 6 ATVMs (Automatic Ticket Vending Machines). Additional TTE (Traveling Ticket Examiner) staff has been deployed to control the crowd of devotees in a systematic manner.

All basic facilities to be provided to the devotees
The routes have been divided to facilitate the movement of passengers on both the Foot Over Bridges (FOBs). Medical Aid Centre has also been arranged for emergency medical services.
Cleanliness and lighting were ensured on the station premises and platforms. Special tents were also set up in the Western Circulation Area for the convenience of the devotees along with the basic facilities including electricity, water and CCTV cameras. Free vehicle parking facility will be provided for Ijtima volunteers on platform number 6. Announcement system is being used for information about trains.

Last year, the four-day annual Islamic event ‘Ijtema’ concluded on December 11, 2023, with approximately 10 lakh devotees gathering for the last namaaz (prayer) at city's Itkhedi area.
