Notably, audio has gone viral in the Jhabua district, where SP Tiwari is talking abusively to a tribal student.

MP CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan |
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Superintendent of police, Jhabua Arvind Tiwari who was transferred on Monday morning for abusing students has now been suspended on chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s instructions.
CM in a meeting with officials, said, “I got the audio clip; examined to know if the voice is of SP Jhabua. After confirmation and verification, he has now been suspended.”
Earlier, CM ordered the immediate shifting of the superintendent of police, Jhabua Arvind Tiwari over the latter allegedly abusing a polytechnic student over the phone repeatedly when the student apparently sought his help to take action against some people who attacked them.
An audio clip of the conversation went viral on social media on Sunday.
Instructing the director general of police Sudhir Saxena to immediately shift the SP the CM said, “Shift Jhabua SP. The language he is using is indecent. How one can talk to students in such a language? Shift him immediately.”
After the CM’s instructions, the SP Jhabua was shifted to police headquarters as an assistant inspector general of police.
As per the conversation in the audio clip, a student who was said to be a tribal student of a local polytechnic institute is heard seeking his help saying he and other students were at the police station for action against the accused.
The student also sought police protection as he said the accused beat them and still they (the student and others with him) faced threat to their life if they went back to the institute.
On this, the SP is heard abusing the students repeatedly and said he would get the student and other students arrested. He would get the other group of students arrested too.
When the student says over the phone they were 40 students at the police station the SP says, “So what? I will get arrested all the 40 and put in lock-up. What can be a better secure place than police lock-up.”
