Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The results of Class 10 and 12 exams of Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Examination (MPBSE) are expected to be declared in the first week of May.
The fourth phase of evaluation of answer sheets of board exams has begun. Around 90 lakh answer sheets of 17 lakh students of both the classes will be evaluated this year. Around 50% evaluation has been completed across the state.
40k teachers have been deployed for evaluation of answer sheets. Question papers of both the classes were checked by subject experts of the Board's committee. If mistakes are found in the questions of subjects including Mathematics, Sanskrit and Urdu, the board will give bonus marks to students.

The copies are being checked according to the model answer. Students will be given marks for each step. If the teacher checks the wrong copy and the student's marks increase by one, a fine of Rs 100 will be imposed. According to an MPBSE official, after checking answer sheets at evaluation centres, the marks are being entered online. Evaluation centres are being monitored from divisional headquarters.
CCTV cameras have been installed at all evaluation centres. Officers will monitor these cameras from divisional headquarters.
