Bhopal: 33-Year-Old Scooty Rider Dies After Truck Runs Over Her In Attempt To Overtake; Body Parts Scattered Over Road
According to eyewitnesses and family members, the truck hit the scooty while overtaking. Rashmi died instantly due to serious head injuries.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A truck rammed into a woman riding a scooty, killing her on the spot on the highway located in Sukhi Sewania police station area in Bhopal on Monday evening.
The deceased has been identified as Rashmi Devi Ahirwar (33 years). She was a resident of Sharda Vihar Colony.
The accident was so severe that her body got mutilated into several parts. According to eyewitnesses and family members, the truck hit her in an attempt to overtake the scooty. Rashmi died instantly due to serious head injuries.
The accident happened around 6:30 pm on Monday, when Rashmi was returning home after buying goods from the market. A youth present on the spot informed her husband Surendra Kumar Ahirwar from her mobile phone.
According to Surendra, "Police is scanning the CCTV footage. The truck hit the scooter in an attempt to overtake and Rashmi came under the wheels." The CCTV of the accident has also surfaced.
Search for the truck driver continues
The police registered a case and sent the body for the postmortem. Following which, Rashmi’s body was handed over to the family. At present, the search for the truck driver is going on.
Police said that the number of the truck is being identified, so that the accused driver can be arrested soon.
