Anand Utsav To Be Organised In Cities, Villages Till Jan 28, Says MP CM Mohan Yadav
He added that the state government is committed for conservation of traditions and culture.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that Anand Utsav will be celebrated in every city and village from ‘Makar Sankranti’ till January 28. He appealed every people to get connected with the initiative which has been rolled out to bring smile on the faces of everyone.
He added that the state government is committed for conservation of traditions and culture. To ensure participation of civilians and to encourage them, traditional games and activities connected with culture will be conducted in city and villages.

The aim of Anand Utsav is participation not competition. Traditional games such as Kabbadi, Kho Kho, Sack Race, Sitolia, lemon race will be organised. Under cultural programmes, folk music, singing, kirtan, plays and others will be organised. Anand Utsav will be organised in such a way that everyone including men, women, citizens of all age, divyangs can participate.
To ensure participation of people above 50 years of age, such kind of activities will be organised which suites to people of such age. The best performer will be rewarded. Rajya Anand Sansthan, Panchayat and Gramin Vikas Vibhag, Self Help Groups (SHGs), elected representatives and panchayats will play an active role in organising Anand Utsav.
