23-Year-Old B.Tech Student Found Hanging At Rented Room In Bhopal

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A college student committed suicide by hanging himself on Tuesday night in Bhopal. The reasons for the suicide have not been revealed yet. Piplani police have registered a case in the matter.

Deceased has been identified as 23-year-old Mudit Pateriya, son of Kanta Prasad Pateriya, was originally from Panna.

The post-mortem of the body was conducted on Wednesday in the presence of family members and the body has been handed over to the family. The deceased was the only son of the family.

According to the police, Mudit Pateriya lived on rent with five friends in a flat in a multi-storey building located in Patel Nagar, Bhopal. Last night, Mudit hanged himself in his room.

Before this, he did not mention any problem to his friends. When he did not come out of the room for a long time, his friends knocked on the gate. Even after this, when there was no response, the police was informed.

The police recovered the body by breaking the gate. The mobile phone of the deceased has been seized.

The father who came from Panna burst into tears after seeing the dead body of his son. Kanta Prasad is a priest of a temple in Panna. He sent Mudit to Bhopal for higher studies.

Mudit was studying B.Tech second year from a private college here.
