15 Crore For Restoration Of Ancient Fort In Mandla: CM ; Mohan Yadav Inaugurates Aadi Shilpgram Mahotsav | FPJ
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has announced a grant of Rs15 crore for restoration of the ancient fort in Mandla which symbolises valour and sacrifice of tribal freedom fighters like Raja Shankar Shah, Kunwar Raghunath Shah and Raja Hriday Shah.
The Chief Minister was speaking at the inaugural ceremony of the three-day ‘Aadi Shilpgram Mahotsav’ at Ravindra Bhavan on Friday. Over 1k tribal artists from various districts of Madhya Pradesh are participating in the festival, organised by the Tribal Affairs Department.
Yadav presented Authorised User Cards to four prominent Gond artists—Anand Shyam, Venkat, Rambai and Dhanaiya. Special training kits were also distributed to artists like Kunwar Baiga. Anis Bai and Kirti Kishan.
The Chief Minister also released a coffee table book focused on Badal Bhoi Tribal Freedom Fighters Museum located in Chhindwara. He also visited various exhibition stalls showcasing tribal art and cuisine. He appreciated the artworks made from wood, clay sculptures, textile paintings and tribal dishes.

Minister for Tribal Affairs, Kunwar Vijay Shah announced that Tribal Marts will soon be set up in tribal-dominated areas to provide market access to tribal artists and their products.
Initially, these marts will be opened in Shahdol, Dhar, Khandwa and Mandla, each with a budget allocation of Rs 1 crore. They will be managed by women's self-help groups (SHGs) and will create employment opportunities for local youth.
