This incident follows a pattern of similar occurrences at other BAPS temples in recent months. In September, the BAPS temple in Sacramento, California, was defaced with graffiti containing expletives. Before that, another BAPS temple in Melville, New York, was also vandalised.
The statement emphasised that BAPS temples are intended to promote harmony and universal Hindu values, contrasting with the repeated acts of vandalism they have faced at multiple locations.
