WPL 2026 Auction: Check Out Delhi Capitals Full Squad ft Laura Wolvaardt, Chinelle Henry, Sneh Rana
Delhi Capitals reached the finals in all three editions of the Women's Premier League. Heading into the WPL 2026 Auction, the franchise retained Jemimah Rodrigues, Shafali Verma, Annabel Sutherland and Marizanne Kapp. The Capitals added Laura Wolvaardt to their ranks for a steal price of Rs 1.10 crore alongside West Indian Chinelle Henry and World Cup winner Shree Charani

Delhi Capitals have been one of the most successful teams in Women's Premier League auction. Led by Meg Lanning, the franchise made it to three consecutive WPL finals, losing all three. Heading into the WPL 2026 Auction, Delhi have retained their core, but have let Lanning go into the auction pool.
Delhi retained an Indian core of Shafali Verma and Jemimah Rodrigues. The duo were player of the match in India's semi-final and final win in the Women's World Cup 2025 earlier this month. U19 World Cup winning captain Niki Prasad has also been retained given her performance in WPL 2025.
Capitals were denied in their pursuit of Meg Lanning and Sophie Ecclestone, losing both to an RTM. They however added quality options in World Cup leading scorer Laura Wolvaardt and Shree Charani. South Africa keeper Lizelle Lee and Sneh Rana was also added to the mix. West Indian hard-hitter Chinelle Henry was also a smart acquisition at ₹1.3 crore
