‘Teri Surgery Ka Main Dekh Lunga’: Fan Who Invaded Pitch During GT vs CSK, Reveals MS Dhoni’s Promise; Video

A fan revealed the promise by former Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni when he invaded the pitch to meet during the IPL 2024 clash against Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on May 10.

An ardent MS Dhoni jumped the barricade and ran towards MS Dhoni when the wicketkeeper-batter was returning back to his striker's end with just three balls left in the match after his LBW was overturned by the third umpire. Dhoni was hilariously jogging way while the fan tried to touch his feet.

After the fan touched MS Dhoni's feet, the former CSK captain put his arm around the pitch invader and had a few words with him before he was taken off the field by the security guards. Dhoni was seen trying to protect the fan from the guards. The video of the same went viral on social media.

The conversation between MS Dhoni and the pitch invader was unclear, but it has been revealed by him.

In a video that went viral on social media, MS Dhoni fan was seen expressing his emotions after getting to touch the feet of the legendary wicketkeeper-batter and said that the former CSK captain was just playfully teasing him when he was trying to chase him to touch his feet.

The fan further revealed that he informed MS Dhoni about his breathing issues during their conversation. In response, the veteran cricketer promised the fan that he would take care of the expenses for his surgery.

"I will take care of your surgery. Nothing will happen to you, don’t worry. I won’t let anything happen to you." fan said in a video.

MS Dhoni is not just the great captain India has ever produced but one of the humblest human beings one has ever come across. Former Chennai Super Kings always appreciated the support of his fans. Sometimes, Dhoni would make a surprise to his fan's home whenever he was in their city.

Meanwhile, MS Dhoni likely played his IPL match in the Chennai Super Kings' last league stage match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru at MA Chinnaswamy Stadium on May 18, Saturday. However, neither CSK management nor Dhoni uttered a single word on his future in IPL. However, CEO Kasi Vishwanathan is 'ver, very' hopeful of Dhoni's return to IPL next year.

It had been reported that MS Dhoni will travel to London for surgery on his muscle tear and then, he will take a call on his future in the cash-rich T20 league.
