SportVot x FPJ: Ranjit Nikam's Thunderous Hundred Leads Kagal Taluka To Title Win

Kagal Taluka Cricket Academy lifted the Baba Bhonsle T20 Trophy with five-wicket win over Sahara Sports Club A in the final on Wednesday. Ranjit Nikam once again shined for the team to smash 115 runs in 49 balls and help his team chase down the target easily in Kolhapur. Ranjit's fiery knock comprising of nine sixes and seven boundaries helped Kagal Taluka to surpass Sahara Sports' total of 191/7 in 20 overs.

M. Rohit L supported semifinal hero Nikam with 30 runs off 27 balls, including a boundary and two sixes, as Kagal Taluka made 193/5 to win the match with three balls to spare. Rohit earlier also excelled with the ball, taking two wickets for 40 runs in four overs with an economy rate of 3.0.

Baba Bhonsle T20 Trophy and MCL Cricket league was managed by Fore Titans. Many such local events in different sports will continue to be streamed live by SportVot in association with FPJ.

Baroda City win Junior Kabaddi title

Baroda City won the 50th Junior Boys State Kabaddi Championship 2024 in Gujarat. Total 21 teams participated in the event managed by Gujarat Kabaddi Association. In the final, Baroda City secured 50 points to outclass Surat City (36) by 14 points difference.

The tournament was packed with electrifying action, and Baroda’s Pranav Uttakrr stole the spotlight as the Best Raider, dazzling with his swift and fearless raids and Parth Rathva stood tall as the Best Defender.

Baroda’s exceptional teamwork and standout performances made them deserving champions of this landmark Kabaddi event.
