Royals in response lost early wickets but half centuries from Sanju Samson (66 runs) and Dhruv Jurel (70 runs) fought hard only to end up on the losing side.

Riyan Parag who is the stand in skipper in place of Sanju Samsoin would want to get his team over the finish line and secure 2 points. KKR on the other hand are the defending champions and would want to get their season back ontrack after early setback.
