Mumbai, April 1: Automotive Manufacturers Pvt. Ltd. charged to an authoritative 7-wicket victory against Dr. Balabhai Nanavati Hospital in a first-round match of the RCF T20 Cricket Tournament 2026 for the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Trophy, played at the RCF ground, Chembur.

Dominant bowling display

Batting first, Nanavati Hospital were bowled out for a paltry 107 runs in 18.3 overs. Nanavati Hospital skipper Farhan Kazi top-scored with 20 runs. Aashay Dube 3 for 8 and Sayed Mohd Hashim 3 for 15 shared the spoils.

Comfortable chase

In reply, Automotive Manufacturers easily chased the winning target, reaching 112 for 3 wickets in just 12.4 overs. Shubham Shinde smashed an unbeaten half-century, scoring 51 runs (32 balls, 5x4, 3x6), and Raj Waghela contributed 29 runs to take their team home with plenty to spare.

In another first-round encounter, Jain Irrigation System Ltd. defeated Central Railway SA by a comfortable 4-wicket margin.
