MSSA Football: Anaai D'Souza Nets Six Goals In Big Win For Cathedral and John Connon School

Anaai D'Souza netted six goals including a hat-trick to star in Cathedral and John Connon School's 9-1 victory in the Boys U-16 I-D match of the Mumbai Schools Sports Association (MSSA) football tournament against Gokuldham Goregaon at Wings Sports Centre, Bandra on Tuesday. Anaai scored the first two goals and later netted fourth, sixth, seventh and eighth goal. Skipper Rian Uniyal scored a brace while Mahir Goradia scored one goal. Malhar Bhave scored the solitary goal for Gokuldham school.
Bombay Scottish Mahim edged past St. Mary's ICSE 1-0 in the Boys U-16 Division I-A. Sparsh Shukla scored an early goal for the winning team.
Smt RSB AVB Juhu defeated Christ Church Byculla 2-1 in boys U-16 I-B division. Vrusshabh Kaud scored the first goal and Prithviraj Tanpure came from bench to score the second goal. Umar Khan had put Christ Church ahead but they couldn't maintain the lead.
Bombay Scottish girls team defeated VCW, AVM Bandra East 1-0. A Camryn Fernandes scored the winning goal for Bombay Scottish.
