In a video surfaced on social media, Gilchrist revealed that Washington Sundar and Nitish Kumar Reddy had referred to Lyon as 'bald eagle' on the field.

Australian commentators Kerry O'Keefe and Adam Gilchrist's hilarious conversation about spinner Nathan Lyon went viral on day three of the Boxing Day Test against India at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). In a video surfaced on social media, Gilchrist revealed that Washington Sundar and Nitish Kumar Reddy had referred to Lyon as 'bald eagle'. O'Keefe responded to it by stating, "'In Hindi, it's Taklu".
The incident occurred on day three just when Lyon finished one of his overs as Gilchrist seemed to have overheard what Reddy and Sundar were referring to the record-breaking spinner as. As a result, the former keeper-batter clarified that they were referring to Lyon as 'bald eagle' and not O'Keefe. With O'Keefe revealing that it's called 'taklu' in hindi, Gilchrist was in splits.

Nathan Lyon took two key wickets on day three at the MCG:
Nevertheless, the 37-year-old didn't fail to impress on day three in Melbourne as he picked up the key wickets of Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar to wrest back the momentum for Australia. The century-stand between Nitish Kumar Reddy and Sundar formed the bedrock of India's fightback as they found their way back from 164-5.
Although Reddy scored a fighting hundred, the visitors still trail by a sizeable 116 runs and have only one wicket remaining. The Australians, led by Pat Cummins, will be looking to take the remaining one wicket at the earliest and bat as soon as possible.
