Artistic Roller Skating: Rhythm Mamania Wins Gold In Taiwan

Six times National Champion and one of the youngest EBC climber became the first Indian to win Gold medal at Solo free dance Cadet female category with record breaking margin in Taiwan Artistic Roller skating Open (TARSO) at Hsinchu from March 27 to 30.

The championship had participants from eight countries: Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Japan, India, Italy, Singapore and Taiwan.

Artistic skating is a very niche sport which involves jumps spins and acrobatic gestures on skates just like Figure skating.

Rhythm, studying in Dhirubhai Ambani International School aspires to represent India at 20th ASIAN Roller Skating Championship 2025 to be held Jecheon City at South Korea from 20th to 30th July 2025. She is coached by Adesh Singh at Prabodhan Thackeray Krida Sankul,Mumbai.

Rhythm's achievements are not only a testament to her hard work and dedication but also a step towards promoting artistic roller skating in India and on the world stage.
