14th Insurance Shield: Nilesh Kharmale Leads BEST Arts & Sports Club To Big Victory Over Times of India
Nilesh Kharmale scored unbeaten 51 runs and later took two wickets for 18 runs to star in the win

A superb all-rounder performance from Nilesh Kharmale (unbeaten 51 runs & 2 wickets for 18 runs) was the highlights of BEST Arts & Sports Club's 80-run victory against Times of India in a third round match of the 14th Insurance Shield T20 cricket tournament, organized by Oriental Insurance Company and played at Cross Maidan on Tuesday.
Batting first, BEST amassed a challenging total of 189 for 6 from the quota of 20 overs. Opening batsman Vinay Sopte top-scored with 74 runs before Karmale smashed an unbeaten half century and Ketan Dhataukar contributed 25 useful runs to lift the BEST innings. Satyajit Banerjee 2 for 11 was the only successful Times of India bowler.
Later, BEST bowling attack was a disciplined lot and restricted Times of India to 109 for 8 in their 20 overs. Dharmesh Baria and Sachin Aphandkar scored 28 and 22 runs respectively, while BEST bowlers Vijay Yadav 2 for 2, D.S. Garge 2 for 5 and Nilesh Kharmale 2 for 18 picked up the wickets.

Garge 2/5, Nilesh Kharmale 2/18). Result: BEST A&SC won by 80 runs.
